Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) is a teaching and research-oriented university with Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese Materia Medica as its leading subjects. As a key university in Zhejiang Province, it is jointly constructed by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

Since its founding in 1953, the University has transformed from a Training School of TCM into a multi-campus comprehensive university offering over 60 programs, from undergraduate to doctoral level degrees including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Materia Medica, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, Acupuncture and Tuina, Nursing, Audiology and Speech Rehabilitation, Computer Sciences, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, etc. We partner with over 150 educational, scientific research and medical institutions in nearly 50 countries and regions to develop innovative teaching and learning opportunities for our staff and students.

Authorized by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MOST), ZCMU is offering an International Training Course on TCM External Treatment Techniques for Developing Countries in Oct. 2024.

n Course structure

1. Time: 14-27 Oct. 2024

2. Venue: ZCMU, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China

3. Course outline

3.1 Lectures. Theories of TCM External Treatment, including the origin of TCM external treatment, acupuncture treatment of pain, massage treatment of cervical spondylosis, clinical application of cupping therapy in internal diseases, pediatric diseases, surgical diseases, etc. And health care technology such as Baduanjin, five-animal exercise, etc.

3.2 Clinical practices. Display the skills and stranded operation of various commonly used TCM external Treatment.

3.3 TCM Culture Immersion. A tour to Zhejiang TCM Museum.

4. Certificate awarding

A certificate of completion will be issued by MOST to those who complete the course and pass the assessment.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a nationality in developing countries.

1.2 Applicants shall have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor's degree (or above), under the age of 60.

1.3 Applicants shall have education background in TCM, Conventional Medicine or corresponding specialties with no less than 2 years’ working experience in medical related field.

1.4 Applicants shall be proficient in English.

Zhejiang Chinese Medical University Admission to Training Programs for International Students Chinese Language Program

Training target: Zero starting learners who hope to improve their Chinese proficiency.

Training objective: Through the learning of this program, one can have simple and direct communication in Chinese on daily topics and achieve a basic level of Chinese proficiency.

Training duration: 1 semester -1 academic year.

六、Application time and Registration

Application time: May to July for Autumn semester, November to January for Spring semester.

Applicants must bring all the original application materials and hold an X visa to register within the designated time.

七、Certificate Award

Certificate of completion will be issued upon completion of the program teaching plan.

Graduates of this program who apply for undergraduate or graduate programs for international students in ZCMU can enjoy:

1. Priority admission for scholarship programs;

2. Exempt 600 RMB of the application fee for undergraduate or graduate programs.

Hospital and teachers also plays an important role and I'm happy enough with my current hospital and teachers. Medical field is all about study and revision because we have to be updated all the time. Try your best to revise as much as you can .
