Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) is a teaching and research-oriented university with Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Chinese Materia Medica as its leading subjects. As a key university in Zhejiang Province, it is jointly constructed by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

Authorized by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China (MOST), ZCMU is offering an International Training Course on TCM External Treatment Techniques for Developing Countries in Oct. 2024.
n Course structure
1. Time: 14-27 Oct. 2024
2. Venue: ZCMU, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China
3. Course outline
3.1 Lectures. Theories of TCM External Treatment, including the origin of TCM external treatment, acupuncture treatment of pain, massage treatment of cervical spondylosis, clinical application of cupping therapy in internal diseases, pediatric diseases, surgical diseases, etc. And health care technology such as Baduanjin, five-animal exercise, etc.
3.2 Clinical practices. Display the skills and stranded operation of various commonly used TCM external Treatment.
3.3 TCM Culture Immersion. A tour to Zhejiang TCM Museum.
4. Certificate awarding
A certificate of completion will be issued by MOST to those who complete the course and pass the assessment.

1. Eligibility
1.1 Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a nationality in developing countries.
1.2 Applicants shall have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor's degree (or above), under the age of 60.
1.3 Applicants shall have education background in TCM, Conventional Medicine or corresponding specialties with no less than 2 years’ working experience in medical related field.
1.4 Applicants shall be proficient in English.

ZCMU admits applicants based on evaluation of their application documents and other factors. An Admission Notice and the course schedule will be issued by ZCMU once the final admission result is approved by MOST.
