Application Guide to 2026 International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称语合中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习和进修汉语国际教育及相关专业。

浙江中医药大学作为接收院校之一，欢迎世界各国中文爱好者来我校学习。现将我校《2026年国际中文教师奖学金招生简章》公布如下：

In order to meet the growing demand of the international community for Chinese language teachers and facilitating Chinese language education in other countries, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) will continue with the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship. Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms, certain HSK test centers, Chinese language (education) departments of foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language instruction of other countries, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (collectively “recommending institutions”) may recommend outstanding students and currently-employed Chinese language teachers to study International Chinese Language Education or related majors in Chinese universities and colleges (“host institutions”).

Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (ZCMU), as one of the Host Institutions, welcomes applicants all over the world to study at ZCMU. Please check the following notice for detailed information:

一、奖学金内容/ SCHOLARSHIP

该项目为全额奖学金项目，含学费、住宿费、生活补贴和综合医疗保险费。具体的奖学金内容以中外语言交流合作中心 (http://www.chinese.cn)公布的信息为准。

This scholarship program covers tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance fee. The details of the scholarship are subject to the information published on the " Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC)" website(http://www.chinese.cn).

二、申请资格/The Eligibility of the Scholarship

1. 持有效普通护照的非中国籍公民。

2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。

3. 身心健康，品学兼优。

4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作。

5. 年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2026年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁（1981年后出生），本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25周岁（2001年后出生）。

1. Be a citizen of a country other than the PRC with a valid personal ordinary-type passport.

2. Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution.

3. Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing.

4. Be interested in Chinese language education and related work.

5. Between the ages of 16-35 on September 1st, 2026. Applicants currently worked as Chinese language teachers shall not exceed the age limit of 45 (Born after 1981), while undergraduate students shall not exceed the age limit of 25 (Born after 2001).

三、奖学金类别及申请条件/Scholarship Programs and Qualifications for Application

1. 一学期研修生

2026年9月、2027年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。

国际中文教育、汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学等方向，汉语考试成绩达到 HSK（三级）180 分，具有HSKK 成绩；中医、太极文化方向，具有 HSK 成绩，同时提供 HSKK 成绩者优先。

One-Semester Study Program

The program commences in September 2026 or March 2027, with a scholarship duration of up to five months.

Applicants of international Chinese language education, Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, Chinese philosophy programs shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required. Applicants of traditional Chinese medicine or Taiji culture programs are required to provide HSK test scores, and priority will be given to those who also provide an HSKK test score.

2. 四周研修生

2026年7月或12月入学，资助期限为4周。

汉语研修、中医、太极文化、汉语言+中国家庭体验等方向，具有HSK成绩。可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系浙江中医药大学确定在华学习计划，提前报中心审批，每团10-15人。

Four-Week Study Program

The program commences either in July or December 2026, with a scholarship duration of up to four weeks.

Tracks: Chinese Language Study, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taiji Culture, Chinese Language + Chinese Family Experience, etc.

Requirements: Applicants must possess an HSK score. Recommending Institutions may organize group applications, and must contact Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in advance to finalize the study plan in China and submit it to CLEC for pre-approval. Each group shall consist of 10-15 people.

四、申请流程/ Application Procedures

1. 2026年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心（http://www.chinese.cn)国际中文教师奖学金板块，查询推荐机构与接收院校，第一志愿选择“浙江中医药大学”；

2. 在线提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；

3. 奖学金获得者与我校确认办理来华留学手续；

4. 按我校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。

5.申请人须同时登录浙江中医药大学国际学生在线管理服务系统(https://admission.zcmu.edu.cn) 在线提交申请。

1. Online registration will be available from March 1^st, 2026 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship application website: (http://www.chinese.cn). You may search for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions, choose Zhejiang Chinese Medical University as your first choice;

2. Submit application materials online; and track the application process;

3. Scholarship holders need to confirm with the host institutions to go through the procedures of studying in China;

4. Register at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University on the designated date written on the letter of admission;

5.Scholarship applicants shall log in ZCMU application website via (https://admission.zcmu.edu.cn) and submit application at the same time.

五、申请材料/ Application Documents

1. 与所有申请者有关的证明材料：

·护照照片页扫描件；

·HSK、HSKK成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件；

·推荐机构负责人的推荐信。

2. 在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。

3. 未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华监护人署名的委托证明文件。

4. 申请者还须提供我校要求的其他证明材料。

1. For all applicants

- A Scanned copy of passport photo page

- A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity).

- A reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions

2. In-service Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment and a reference letter from the employer.

3. Applicants under 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

4. Applicants shall provide additional documents as required by ZCMU.

六、申请截止日期（以北京时间为准）/ Application deadline (Beijing Time)

1. 2026年7月入学：学生申请截止日期为2026年4月15日；

July admission：Student applications close April 15^th, 2026.

2. 2026年9月入学：学生申请截止日期为2026年5月15日；

September admission：Student applications close May 15^th, 2026.

3. 2026年12月入学：学生申请截止日期为2026年9月15日；

December admission：Student applications close September 15^th, 2026.

4. 2027年3月入学：学生申请截止日期为2026年10月31日。

March 2027 admission：Student applications close October 31^st, 2026.

注意事项/ Note

1. 一学期研修项目原则上不录取3年内享受过同类奖学金的申请者。

2. 申请材料不完整或不符合招生条件的，概不受理。通过系统上传的材料须清晰、真实、有效。建议申请人使用专业设备扫描需提交的有关文件，因材料不清晰或无法可识别造成的后果由申请人承担。

3. 申请材料弄虚作假或非本人填写提交的，一经查实，申请资格将被取消。

4. 入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

1. In principle, applicants who have received a similar scholarship within 3 years are not eligible for the one-semester study program.

2. Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be accepted. Uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic and valid. Applicants are recommended to use a professional device to scan the relevant documents. Applicants shall bear the consequences caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials.

3. Applicants will be disqualified from application in case of the fact that application materials are found fraudulent or application materials are completed and submitted by someone else.

4. Students who fail to pass the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school before completing the program, fail to register at the university without prior permission, or suspend their studies will be disqualified for the scholarship.

Theory and practical both are very different in medical field but both has it's own part and I think I'm in good hands for the practical part ！这真的是全新的体验，带教老师帮助我理解了很多事情，我看了很多手术，看到了很多新技术。治疗病人，带教学生......成为一名外科医生需要很强的意志，这正是我在所有的医生身上看到的奉献精神。令人惊讶的是，他们如此忙碌，仍然有时间教给我们这么多宝贵的知识！医学的理论和实践各有侧重点，我在实践部分也学到了！接下来的学习计划The following study plan So usually we have Ward rounds as I'm in surgery department , Laoshi usually talks with patients and then explain us about the current situation and condition of patient , so I try to note the topics that I feel Like I need to revise or I need to read more about it and then we have the surgery part where laoshi tells us a day before and I have a look about procedures before hand and try to observe as much as I can during surgery to relate it. 在外科病房查房时，我的老师会和病人交谈，然后向我们解释病人的现状和状况。我试着记下我觉得我需要复习的部分、有些需要我去要阅读更多的文献。手术前老师提前一天告诉我们，我会看一下手术程序，然后在手术过程中尽可能多地观察以将理论和实际联系起来。对低年级学生的建议Advice for junior students About the internship I would say everything depends on you. Hospital and teachers also plays an important role and I'm happy enough with my current hospital and teachers. Medical field is all about study and revision because we have to be updated all the time. Try your best to revise as much as you can .
