The following is an English translation. In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the former shall prevail.2024-2025 Academic Year Scholarship Application Notice forEnrolled Students of International Education College,Zhejiang Chinese Medical UniversityDear all enrolled international students:IEC has made the following arrangements for the selection of scholarship for students in the academic year of 2024-2025.Special Note: For those who are not approved for the Zhejiang provincialgovernment scholarship, the same level of scholarship will automatically be qualified for the next level of scholarship.1. Scholarship CategoryZhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students,International Students Scholarship of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University (including Academic Scholarship and Freshman Scholarship), Special Scholarship for International Students of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, etc.2. Application Conditions(1) Applicants must be a foreign national, hold a valid foreign passport, friendly to China, an international student officially enrolled in IEC, not have applied for suspension, retention or extension of study during the previous academic year or the evaluation period.(2) Applicants must be enrolled in full-time degree program, have good moral character, be in good health, and abide by the law. Must not have a bad record of defaulting on tuition fees, disciplinary violations, etc.(3) Applicants has not received any scholarship from other organizations or Chinese government.(4) Applicants who apply for undergraduate scholarships must be under than 30 years old; Master's scholarship applicants must be under than 35 years old; Doctoral scholarship applicants must be under than 40 years old. Applicants for this special scholarship may be granted an age limit extension of up to five years.(5) The Provincial Government Scholarship, University Academic Scholarship, and Special Scholarship are evaluated according to the recipient’s comprehensive assessment results from the previous academic year.The Single-Item Scholarship is determined by ranking based on specific merit points, and selection is conducted uniformly across the entire college.(6)Undergraduate students in the internship year must already be undertaking their internship within China to be eligible to apply.3. Academic Requirements(1) Applicants for the Provincial Government Scholarship must rank within the top 30% of their academic level and major in terms of annual academic performance, with no failing grades in any courses throughout the academic year.(2) Applicants for the University Academic Scholarship must achieve an academic ranking within the top 50% of their peers at the same educational level and in the same major, with no failing grades in any courses during the academic year.(3) Applicants for the Special Scholarship must meet the academic requirements stipulated in the Implementation Measures for the Annual Review of the Special Scholarship for International Students at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.4. Requirement of application documents and introductions(1) Application for the Provincial Government Scholarship requires submission of the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship Application Form for International Students (Attachment 1).Application for university-level scholarships requires submission of the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University International Student Scholarship Application Form (Attachment 2).Application for the University Special Scholarship requires submission of the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University Annual Review Form for International Student Special Scholarship (Attachment 3).Application for the Single-Item Scholarship requires submission of the Zhejiang Chinese Medical University International Student Single-Item Scholarship Application Form (Attachment 4). Applicants may apply for a maximum of two awards from the following categories: Volunteer Service Award, Academic & Competition Award, Cultural Activities Award, Sports Activities Award, and Social Work Award. The Provincial Government Scholarship, Academic Scholarship, Special Scholarship, and Single-Item Scholarship are mutually exclusive and may not be held concurrently.(2) Official academic transcript for the previous academic year (please download it yourself from the myiec system)(3) Copy of the passport information page; (4)Postgraduate applicants must provide an original letter of consent from their supervisor (Attachment 5);(5) Copy of HSK Level 4 certificate (2023-2025autumn clinical medicine).All materials provided by applicants must be authentic and valid. Submitted documents will not be returned. Applicants must submit the hardcopy application materials to their class advisor by the specified deadline. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.Submission Deadline: 17:00, September 20, 2025.5. Evaluation and notification of scholarship(1) IEC will hold a scholarship evaluation meeting, and the scholarship evaluation committee will vote on the proposed awardees according to the application status, scholarship quota, and reference to the international students' overall quality   assessment results, in accordance with the principles of fairness, openness and justice.(2) IEC will publicize the evaluation results on the International Education College official website and the Recommended List will be verified by higher    authorities for review and approval.(3)Students who have been awarded with the scholarship must register and finish their tuition fee payment according to the specified schedule by IEC, otherwise scholarship will be forfeited automatically. If the scholarship recipient is suspended,   withdrawn, transferred or has fraudulent scholarship behavior during the scholarship period, the scholarship evaluation committee will hold a special meeting to decide whether to revoke and recover the scholarship.(4) Other matters that not completed shall be explained by the International Education College.  IECSeptember 15, 2025护理本科Nursing附件.rar临床医学本科Clinical Medicine附件.rar药学本科Pharmacy附件.rar中医学本科Chinese Medicine附件.rar研究生Postgraduate附件.rar

IEC teaching affairs department held an academic support meeting

IEC teaching affairs department held an academic support meeting on July 3 for undergraduate pharmacy batch 2021 and 2022.  Prof. Shen Li from College of Pharmacy was invited to speak. He taught "organic chemistry D" in collaboration with Dr. Jean-Philippe Monserrat, a French teacher. Prof. Shen started by asking students questions of “Why come to China to study?” ,“What did you do in class?”,“How much time did you spend studying after class?” and“How did you feel about your studies last semester?”Foreign students were asked to write some test questions from Chinese students' exam paper.      Prof. Shen also shared his own notes he still keeps from his undergraduate period, in order to give foreign students some ideas of the gap between Chinese and foreign students. In the end, Prof. Shen gave some advice on how to study pharmacy, reminding foreign students to spend more time and energy to catch up with their studies. A review lecture is to be held by him and Dr. Jean-Philippe Monserrat during summer vacation, and each student was required to submit personal improvement plans after the meeting. IEC teaching affairs department explained international students' academic warning regulations ,as well as addressing some common problems of international students.

Chinese and foreign teachers and students discuss the closing ceremony of the Winter OlympicsOn the evening of February 20, the closing ceremony of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games was held at the National Stadium as scheduled. Chinese President Xi Jinping and International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach attended the closing ceremony.The closing ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games takes "The story of a snowflake" as the clue to tell the theme of "One world, 0ne family", which reflects the concept of "Faster, Higher, Stronger --Together" of the Olympic Games.The global situation of COVID-19 still being ravaged, the organizers of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games implemented strict closed loop management and other epidemic prevention measures, which provided warm reception for athletes all over the world and set up a stage for athletes to show themselves. During the Winter Olympics，athletes from different countries spoke highly of the venue facilities，Winter Olympic Village and closed loop management. Gathering students along with teachers to enjoy those moments and discuss interesting details that caught each and everyone’s eyes was a big pleasure. We were all impressed by how China celebrated the success of other champions from other countries reflecting the world union and the strength of its bonds all over the planet. The colors of different flags and the teams from different places with their anthems added a magnificent look to the stadium in Beijing and reflected how much respect China has for the participants as the organizing country. I was very entertained by the atmosphere of laughter and joy as well as sharing delicious snacks with the other schoolmates  i haven’t seen during the holiday.
